Martin Devictor, founder of the Mont-Blanc Collection, is a true mountain lover. He began coming to Chamonix when he was still a baby, on holiday with his grandparents.
He quickly came to realise he’d like to settle down here one day. After the Chalets des Liarets, a project carried out with his siblings, he joined forces with a hotelier in 2010 to open Le Faucigny. This boutique 3-star establishment with 26 rooms confirmed his genuine vocation for hospitality and service.
He later opened the Aparthotel le Génépy, then the Chalet Hotel Whymper and finally the Café du Génépy. All located in the same area, just a few meters from each other.
BOUTIQUE HOTEL LE FAUCIGNY
In 2011 Martin Devictor, passionate about friendly boutique accommodation, took over the reins of the Faucigny, a 26-room Scandinavian-style boutique hotel and spa in a historical house.
The Scandinavian-inspired decor and cosy spaces are made for sharing.
Our team’s attentiveness and hospitality reflect the history of this soulful house, where style and festivity are the order of the day.
APARTHOTEL LE GÉNÉPY
Enjoying the adventure, in 2016 he founded the Mont-Blanc Collection and expanded further in the same neighbourhood with the Aparthotel le Génépy.
A lovingly and stylishly renovated boutique establishment comprising luxury apartments, whose sleek decor ensures the mountains stay centre stage.
CHALET HOTEL WHYMPER
In 2018, the Chalet Hotel Whymper and its 10 bedrooms joins what is slowly becoming a little hamlet.
A home in the mountains, refined and friendly, just like a big family chalet…
Located at the very heart of Chamonix, it is a chic and authentic setting where an atmosphere mixing charm and comfort reigns. It is an ideal place for friends, couples, and families who want to intensely enjoy their stay. Its scandinavian Spa and its living spaces offer a unique experience in a unique place.
CAFÉ DU GÉNÉPY
Finally, 2019 saw the birth of the ‘village square’ with the Café du Génépy – somewhere to pass by, relax and share, where you’ll come across locals, clients and team members.
A place to come and savour our chef Bernadette’s delicious dishes and pastries, have a chat over a sharing platter, get a takeaway for lunch or ‘work from home’ on the shady terrace. Generous and healthy cuisine, sociable memories, cosy afternoons and plenty of other occasions to enjoy together at this excellent café.
